Harris & Heavener supports local community organizations

While Harris & Heavener serves clients throughout Ohio, it’s equally important for our team to champion causes that are close to home. Each year we select a local nonprofit organization to support through company-wide fundraising efforts.

In the fall of 2025, the Harris & Heavener team was proud to partner with the Reynoldsburg Police Department to help pass out free coats and shoes to families in need. Giving back to our community is something we care deeply about, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support our local officers in keeping Reynoldsburg warm this season.

In 2021, we decided to donate the materials to build a shelter house next to Ebenezer Baptist Church in Maxville, Ohio.

The church is adding a campground and the shelter house will provide an outdoor gathering space. Harris & Heavener donated the materials and volunteers are building it. It is currently being constructed and will be completed later this year. Several employees attend and live in the community near church. The Harris & Heavener team is always excited to be involved in projects that give back to the community and help people.

In 2020, Harris & Heavener set a goal to raise $10,000 for the Perry County Cancer Alliance. All of the money goes directly to help cancer patients pay for things they may struggle with otherwise. We believe this is a great cause and are we excited to support it.
