  • Skilled Labor
    Experienced in placing cable or conduit, has general knowledge of work prints and can take elevation shots. Understands trench safety, has knowledge of safe equipment operation and has a CDL.

  • Lead Labor
    Experienced in placing cable or conduit, has general knowledge of work prints and can take elevation shots. Understands trench safety, has knowledge of safe equipment operation, has a CDL and is the backup operator/foreman.

  • Buried Foreman
    Experienced in the safe operation of excavation equipment, has completed competent person training, understands and can follow work prints, can do as-builds and billing sheets. Is responsible for the safety and well-being of 1 to 2 people, can complete work as scheduled and has a CDL.

  • Assistant Buried Superintendent
    Experienced in the safe operation of all excavation equipment, has completed competent person training and has a CDL. Is qualified in manhole replacement (cast on sight) experienced in building multiple duct formations, completes as-builds and billing sheets, can complete work as scheduled and is responsible for the safety and well-being of 6 to 30 people.

  • Superintendent/Buried
    Has completed competent person training, has a CDL, is experienced in all types of excavation equipment, is experienced in print reading, understands as-builds and billing sheets. Experienced in building duct runs and doing manhole rebuilds and has knowledge of water and sewer. Understands and is capable of enforcing all safety and company rules. Individual must be self-motivated, willing to work long hours, be able to meet work schedules, be willing to work out of town, and must be firm but fair and be goal driven. At any given time will be responsible for the safety and well-being of 6 to 30 people. Good written and oral communication skills are a must.

  • Lineman
    Has a CDL, has worked in both the underground and air, is proficient in climbing telephone poles. Has knowledge of rubber gloves, blankets and voltage testers. Has knowledge of cable placing and work prints.

  • Lead Lineman
    Individual is experienced in the placing of both aerial and underground cables, has a working knowledge of all line equipment and vehicles, has a CDL, understands work prints and can do as-builds and identify billing items. Is the backup line foreman.

  • Line Foreman
    Individual is experienced in placing of both aerial and underground cables, has a working knowledge of all line equipment and vehicles, has a CDL, understands work prints, and can do as-builds, identify billing items, do quality checks and pre-surveys. Is responsible for the safety and training of 1 to 6 people.

  • Assistant Line Superintendent
    Has a CDL, is experienced in all types of line placing and removal, has placed poles in power, has good climbing skills. Individual reads and understands work prints, can do as-builds and billing sheets. Must be motivated, must be firm but fair and be goal driven. Is responsible for the safety and well-being of 6 to 30 people. Good written and oral communications skills are a must.

  • Superintendent/Line
    Has CDL, is experienced in all types of placing and removal, has placed poles in power, has good climbing skills. Individual must be capable of providing pole climbing and safety training. Reads and understands work prints, can do as-builds and billing sheets, must be motivated, willing to work long hours to meet schedules. Must be firm and fair and goal driven. Is responsible for safety and well-being of 6 to 30 people. Good written and oral communications skills are a must.

  • Splicer
    Has experience with splicing fiber, loose tube and ribbon fiber. Has experience working a FUJI 70S and 70R. Has experience running an OTD and power meter.

  • Installer
    Has experience installing and terminating fiber into homes or businesses. Has experience in troubleshooting problems on in-home systems and setting up wireless accounts on different types of systems.

  • Truck Driver
    Must have Class A CDL. The dump truck driver is responsible for operating trucks to transport dirt, aggregate, asphalt and other materials and/or equipment to various job site locations. Will also work in the yard area to stockpile and move materials as needed. This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of equipment/trucks. Work will be performed per the supervisor’s instruction, free from direct supervision except for more complicated jobs.

  • Mechanic
    The duties performed by the mechanic include diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures and repairing and maintaining diesel and gasoline engines. They adjust and repair ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic and steering systems, as well as maintain and repair chassis, frames and bodies. Mechanics work with hoisting and jacking equipment, power tools, measuring instruments, gauges and meters, and lubricating equipment. They maintain and repair tires, batteries, brake systems and valves. Perform shop management functions such as maintenance scheduling and spare parts inventory control. They make estimates of material, labor and equipment requirements.
